There are parades, bands, plus plenty of freezing beverages to help you celebrate however if you are overdressed you will surely be uncomfortable.
My family recently planned a trip down south to attend Mardi Gras. Because the celebration takes place during the Springtime I never even thought about the air temperature. I feel that it would be mild because it was still early Springtime so I packed mainly long sleeve shirts plus jeans thinking that I would be fine. My associate and I should have all inspected the national weather report before my associate and I headed out for our trip. The section where the celebration takes place was experiencing some truly bizarre weather. Normally they have afternoontime highs in the 75’s however this year temperatures were reaching up to 85 degrees. The mornings were boiling plus humid plus you can see the waves of heat rising from the streets. My jeans plus long sleeve shirts were just not going to split it so I had to go shopping for some cooler clothing. As everyone knows most of the celebration takes place in the streets of the city plus you are subjected to outdoor temperatures instead of nice indoor events. There are parades, bands, plus plenty of freezing beverages to help you celebrate however if you are overdressed you will surely be uncomfortable. Even with the cooler clothing I would duck into diners plus bars for a split from the heat. These places are all equipped with quality Heating plus Air Conditioning systems to accommodate their guests plus are used to having numerous visitors during this time of year. I don’t even know they mind that their utility bills are a bit higher during this time of year because they make up for it because they are three times as tied up as they normally are, however celebrating at Mardi Gras it’s an awesome experience that everyone should have at least once in their lifetime.
