Have you ever obtained a portable heater to help supplement your Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system? Many times purchasing one of these units it perfect for a room or small space that just needs a bit more warmth.
Take my laundry room, it always seems to be colder than the rest of the house and when I decided to set up my cabin office in there I knew I needed to be moderate and comfortable… I particularly didn’t want to invest in swings to my Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system so I decided to check out my possibilities in portable heat.
There are numerous versions on the market and I wanted one that was safe, efficient, and controlled by a built in control unit. I didn’t want to worry about it starting a fire while I was out of the room either. After looking a coil, ventless propane and a few others I settled on an infrared model that fit all the requirements. It has safety features on it too that sense if the heater is accidentally tipped over or if something is blocking it. It has a shut off trigger that will turn the heat off in the event that there is a problem, however that is super crucial because someone could particularly throw some laundry in the room and make either of those happen. The infrared heat feels so moderate and cozy too. It seems to radiate through the room and I never even feel a chill in the air. I set the control unit to seventy degrees and I can even keep the rest of the house at a lower setting which saves me money.
