I enjoy sleeping in a cooler environment, however there’s nothing worse than being too frosty while trying to sleep; Last week, I woke up shivering in the middle of the night! I was so frosty plus couldn’t get hot no matter what I did, i piled two extra blankets on my bed plus pulled on an extra pair of socks plus a thick sweatshirt… Since it was the middle of the night plus I was drowsy, I didn’t realize that something was really wrong with my boiler, then as I was shivering under the covers for 30 minutes attempting to fall asleep, it finally dawned on me that my apartment shouldn’t have been as frosty as it was.
I turned the heat on before I went to sleep like I normally did, so there was no reason for it to feel like I was sleeping at the North Pole, however reluctantly, I got up to check my control component settings.
I saw that I had the boiler turned on plus the temperature was set to 73 degrees, however the control component said that my apartment was 65 degrees! To be honest, 65 degrees was higher than I was anticipating because it felt much colder. I thought about calling the emergency Heating plus A/C line, but I didn’t want to spend money the higher fee. Instead, I decided to suck it up plus deal with the cooler hot plus cold temperatures. I already knew I’d have to spend money for the boiler repair, so I didn’t want to spend extra currency to have them come out immediately. It could wait until day.
