I live just far enough south that my buddy and I never see snow or temperatures below cold, and the winters are brief but the weather gets cold enough that a heating system is required.
The summers are harshly tepid and humid.
For the majority of the year, the weather is moderate, and we’re able to open the windows… My partner and I moved from up north to this location. My enjoyable friend and I were happy to get away from excessively long, snowy and brutal winters. My enjoyable friend and I were accustomed to temperatures well below zero and feet of snow on the ground. The appliances in our up-to-date home had not been updated in a long time. My enjoyable friend and I needed to upgrade the refrigerator, stove and water heater. There was no washer and dryer. The packaged heating/cooling system was obviously old. The unit was substantial, harshly noisy and the outer cupboard was rusting. My enjoyable friend and I moved into the home while in the fall. The first winter season set records for cold temperatures, our seasoned heating system struggled to keep up with demand. The home often felt cold and the heating system sometimes froze up. My enjoyable friend and I finally invested into a small electric heating system for the study room. The heating system resembled a real wood stove with a faux flame that created a bit of ambience. My enjoyable friend and I were thankful for the warmth. That summer, the packaged unit worked surprisingly well in cooling mode, however it managed to keep the entire home perfectly comfortable on the hottest mornings and most humid evenings, then because of so several other house expenses, my buddy and I ended up keeping that packaged heating/cooling unit for three years.
