A/C has ice in it

I had a dream that it was hailing and that I was being hit in the face by little ice pieces while outside.

I remember feeling very cold.

Then I woke up and realized that the icy dream wasn’t all just a dream. I was, in fact, getting hit in the face by tiny pieces of ice. This made no sense because I was in my bed. Furthermore, it was super hot outside. In this area, it never drops below 80 degrees in the summer. Not even at night. I felt my face and it was freezing cold. Then I felt my hair and found little pieces of ice. Finally, I turned on the light and looked around. It took a minute for my sleepy brain to comprehend it but I finally figured out that the ice was coming out of my A/C vent. I intentionally positioned my bed right under the vent, some time ago, because I like the cold air hitting me in the face while I sleep. Having said that, ice shouldn’t be coming out of the A/C vents at any time. Not ever! I checked the other vents in the house and all had water under them. With some, I could feel the ice shooting out. I turned off my A/C after that and then called up my A/C provider. They are open 24/7 so someone answered right away. An A/C technician came out a few hours later and was able to solve the issue. Additionally, he cleaned out my ductwork and did a general tune-up on my A/C system. So now the air coming out of my A/C is freezing cold but it doesn’t actually have ice crystals in it. That is exactly how it is supposed to be.
