It isn’t often that my adult children come & spend the morning with me. I would love to have them do so more often however with jobs & kids of their own they have honestly hectic schedules. Last Tuesday when my child said he was coming over I was glad, however after that my buddy and I uneasy because he never calls first. He said he wanted to make sure that both his Mom & I were going to be home, okay, now I was particularly nervous. My buddy and I waited nervously for him to arrive & when he did I was relieved to see that he was in great health. He abruptly told us that he had wanted us both property because he had a big surprise for us. He then proceeded to tell us how grateful he was that my buddy and I had constantly supported him no matter what & that he had been looking for a way to repay us for everything. My buddy and I told him that he was not obligated to do so, but, he & his husbandy had discussed it & wanted to do this thing for us, however he then proceeded to tell us that a brand current Heating & A/C system was going to be installed next week & that my buddy and I would have a state of the art system instead of the one that failed on us all the time. It would save money on our energy cost too & my buddy and I could even program it remotely if my buddy and I wanted to, however i can’t say that I am so glad with all of the high tech features however it will be nice to save on the gas bill & not worry that the system will cut down when my buddy and I need it most.
