It looked like they were working to fix the A/C problem.
I went to my local big-box retail store yesterday and they seemed to be having a problem with their HVAC system. It was really hot and humid in the store. I guess the air conditioning wasn’t working or something. They had all of their door open and big, huge fans running but it was really hot outside so it was really hot inside. Usually, I would look around and I usually end up buying more than just the things I came in for. But that day, I quickly got what I needed and then got out. But even in the short time I was in the store, I got all hot and sweaty. The employees all seemed to be in a foul mood too. I can’t say that I blame them. I would hate to work like that with no air conditioning and then deal with customers complaining about the lack of air conditioning. On my way out the door, I noticed a lot of noise coming from the roof and two HVAC company trucks parked in front of the store. There was also a ladder going up to the roof. I hadn’t noticed them earlier so I assumed they had just gotten there. It looked like they were working to fix the A/C problem. Still, I will be waiting a couple days before I try to go back to that store. I enjoy shopping but not when it is 90 degrees inside. When I got in my van, I blasted my air conditioning and was thankful for it.
