Cooling Floors?

Cooling Floors?

I am just not sure it is worth the extra cost or that my friend and I would really be saving cash on or cooling bill if my friend and I have two cooling systems running all winter

We finally decided to have radiant radiant heated floors installed instead of a furnace. My fiance as well as I debated a lot about the costs as well as pros as well as cons before deciding to call a heating serviceman to come out as well as look everything over as well as give us a quote. The misses was really enthusiastic that my friend and I were installing a heater that would not be so drying as the furnace my friend and I were so used to. I liked the idea of even heat. But then, the serviceman asked if my friend and I wanted cooling floors as well. She explained that the cooling floors would have to work in tandem with our forced air conditioning but that a lot of people like that option as well. I immediately said no. My fiance said sure. I think my friend and I now have something else to discuss before my friend and I settle on a component to hook up to the pipes that will be under the floors. I really don’t see the need for this addition if my friend and I still have to use our regular cooling system too. The Heating & Air Conditioning serviceman explained that hot air rises as well as cool air sinks so only cooling the floors will not cool the whole house. However, she also stated that cooling the floors would make the forced air component work more effectively as well as more uniformly. I am just not sure it is worth the extra cost or that my friend and I would really be saving cash on or cooling bill if my friend and I have two cooling systems running all winter. My fiance thinks my friend and I should go for it now or my friend and I will regret it later. She says my friend and I don’t have to run the underfloor cooling system if my friend and I don’t want to.
