Cooling Floors?

Cooling Floors?

My partner thinks my wonderful friend and I should go for it now or my wonderful friend and I will regret it later

We finally decided to have radiant radiant floors installed instead of a boiler. My partner and I debated a lot about the costs and pros and cons before deciding to call a heating serviceman to come out and look everything over and provide us a quote. The misses was really glad that my wonderful friend and I were installing a heater that would not be so drying as the boiler my wonderful friend and I were so used to. I liked the idea of even heat. But then, the serviceman asked if my wonderful friend and I wanted cooling floors as well. He explained that the cooling floors would have to toil in tandem with our forced cooling system but that a lot of people like that choice as well. I right away said no. My partner said yeah. I know my wonderful friend and I now have something else to discuss before my wonderful friend and I settle on a component to hook up to the pipes that will be under the floors. I really don’t see the need for this addition if my wonderful friend and I still have to use our respected a/c too. The Heating and Air Conditioning serviceman explained that boiling air rises and cool air sinks so only cooling the floors will not cool the whole house. However, he also stated that cooling the floors would make the forced air component toil more effectively and more uniformly. I am just not sure it is worth the extra cost or that my wonderful friend and I would really be saving money on or cooling bill if my wonderful friend and I have two cooling systems running all winter. My partner thinks my wonderful friend and I should go for it now or my wonderful friend and I will regret it later. She says my wonderful friend and I don’t have to run the underfloor cooling system if my wonderful friend and I don’t want to.
