I may be considered a clean freak although I do not like to be called one.
I do not know how it happened because I grew up in a home that was not the cleanest.
My parents are not filthy people, but they definitely are not super clean people either. Ever since I was a little girl, I liked to keep things really clean. I really enjoy keeping my house as clean as possible. I visited one of my best friends several years ago, and she had an air purifier in her house. I asked her why, and she explained to me all of the terrible toxins that we breathe in on a regular basis. I did some research on my own after that visit, and I came to the conclusion that I wanted an air purifier for my home. My husband was all for it, so I bought one the next week. It is about seven years later, and I now have two air purifiers running in my house 24/7. I want to make sure that I do my best to keep my house free from harmful pollutants and toxins. My parents are both smokers, and they smoke inside their house all of the time. It really bothers me. It has always bothered me, but they just do not seem to think anything of it. We rarely go and stay at their house because of that, but when I do go and stay at their house, I always bring my air purifiers. I put one in the bedroom that my husband and I sleep in, and I put one in the main living area where they smoke the most. I do not know if it actually does much, but I sure hope it does.
