When I first started working at the company that I am with now, I definitely did not like it. I went from doing landscaping to working in an office, in addition to it was not an easy adjustment for me. It was so strenuous to kneel still all afternoon when I was used to walking in addition to lifting things all afternoon long. I have found a few things that help, in addition to one of them is stopping to do pushups in addition to squats every hour or so. I have a unbelievable supervisor who just laughs at me while I do my mini workout sessions. I have learned to adore my job now. It is still not easy at times, despite the fact that I get through it. One of my least preferred afternoons of the week is Thursday. On Thursdays my friend and I have our staff meetings, in addition to they are brutal. They are about two hours long, in addition to they are in the coldest room in the entire building. I do not know why, but for some reason, they chose the coldest room to have our staff meetings in. Everyone calls it “the cold room.” There is no individual control unit for that room. I keep my personal office around seventy-five degrees, so going from my office to the staff meeting room is like going from outside on a moderate summer time afternoon to a freezer. My coworkers make fun of me for bringing a thick winter season coat to the staff meetings, despite the fact that I do not care. I would rather look crazy in addition to be moderate than freeze during our staff meetings.
