I am genuinely a girly girl if there ever was one.
I care about getting dressed up in pretty gowns and doing my makeup. I have worked in the beauty industry for over fifteen years, and I cannot ever see myself leaving. It has been such a nice job doing what I care about to do. I guess I have been interested in beauty since I was about two years old. I used to spend a lot of time in front of the mirror trying on my mom’s makeup. My mom said that I even did her makeup at times as a three year old girl. My care about for all things beauty never died out; it only grew stronger and stronger. Even though I absolutely care about makeup, there are sporadically that I prefer not to wear makeup at all. I do not like to wear makeup when it is tepid outside and there is no air conditioner whereI plan to be. Air conditioning is absolutely my best friend. The heat and humidity mess up just about everything when it comes to beauty. My face gets oily and makes my makeup look a little rough, and my naturally curly hair goes deranged in the Summer heat. I try my best to stay in buildings that have air conditioner, but there are times when I just cannot help it. I went on a picnic with some friends a couple of weeks ago, and I decided not to wear makeup. I put on some SPF and some moisturizer and that was it, no air conditioner means no makeup for me.
