I am sold
I have consistently hated hardwood floors! I grew up in a house with no carpeting whatsoever & my feet were consistently cold cold… My Grandma, on the other hand, had nice lush carpeting & I loved it. My feet were consistently so moderate & comfortable when my enjoyable friend and I stayed at Grandma’s house, but that is why I swore I would only live in houses with carpeting when I grew up. That plan went well for decades. Then my spouse & I decided to transport in order to accommodate our growing family. My friend and I found a house my enjoyable friend and I both loved. It was spacious, near enjoyable schools, near our tasks, & the price was right. The only thing I didn’t like was that it had hardwood floors. I was whispering to my spouse however I feel the realtor heard us because she told us that this house has underfloor heating. That means that my feet would never be cold on cold days. I like the concept however I was not sure underfloor heating would be enough so I asked for a demonstration. The realtor got the underfloor heating system turned on & I took off my shoes, then at first I was not impressed. The floor felt the same to me… But as I waited I observed that the floor warmed up & then the whole house started to moderate up too. My feet had never felt so moderate & comfortable. I am sold. My friend and I are going to buy the house. I never realized that a floor could actually be the source of heat instead of a source of cold.
