I Plan On Installing a Geothermal Heat Pump

Once installed to the ground, the heat pump would use the natural temperature of the ground to heat or cool my home.

The heat during the summer months in this region is extreme. The temperature rises above 100 degrees at least three times a week and the humidity hovers around 70%. Over the years, I’ve learned how important it is to have my air conditioner serviced by an HVAC professional. A certified HVAC professional is the only person who can truly take care of my air conditioning equipment after it’s been run rigorously during the summer months. When it was time to upgrade my air conditioning system, I didn’t want to settle for something mediocre. I called my HVAC technician and asked for his opinion on geothermal heat pumps. He was totally on board for the heat pump installation because they were the most energy efficient. Once installed to the ground, the heat pump would use the natural temperature of the ground to heat or cool my home. The HVAC professional said that it would take a lot of time to install the geothermal heat pump and the upfront cost was high, but it was the most energy efficient heat and air source on the market. There weren’t a lot of homes with geothermal heat pumps because the price tag was so high, but installing it to my home would increase the value of the home tremendously. If I stayed in this house for a long time, I’d be able to pay off the geothermal heat pump in energy savings, that’s how efficient it was! I’m so excited to have a geothermal heat pump installed in my home.
