When problems with my furnace were occurring, I knew it was probably time to get a new machine.
Before I spent all of that money on a brand new furnace, I thought it would be a good idea to call a local service provider for help. I contacted a company in town that offers free estimates on all new HVAC systems. The service contractor on the phone was very nice and sent me up with an appointment for the very next day. The service contractor came to my home and spent about 20 minutes looking at the entire system. He left no stone unturned when he was looking at the equipment. After 20 minutes, the service technician came to speak with me about the condition of my furnace. He agreed that it was time to get something new and energy efficient. The service contractor got some information out of his truck. The information showed all of the options that were available to me. There were several different types of furnaces that would work out in my home as well as a couple of different options. I took a day to think about my choices while I read through the pamphlets of information that were provided to me by the service technician. After speaking to my wife, both of us agreed on the same new heating system for our home. We set up an appointment for a couple of days later and it only took half of a day for the service crew to install our new furnace.
