It wasn’t as well as that is all because of the Heating and A/C system
The youngsters were happy to finally be able to go to the theater as well as watch a movie again. It was nice to get out of the property even if the theater snacks is overpriced. The Dipson Theater is still practicing social distancing so that is nice. No crowded Dipson Theater for us. However, the Dipson Theater must have turned off their Heating and A/C system for the 6 months that they were closed down entirely. I say that because there was a gross musty stink we noticed as soon as we walked into the theater. The stink seemed worse in the lobby than it did in the actual theater part. I can only suppose that is what happens when you don’t run the a/c when you live in a humid temperature like this. It made me a little skeptical of the snacks but I purchased it anyway. The youngsters were expecting it after all. But then the movie started as well as I noticed another problem. The a/c was super loud, then every time the a/c kicked on it was undoubtedly noticeable. The movie was turned up super loud (like they always are at Dipson Theaters) but it was still hard to hear when the air condition was on. Even the youngsters noticed, but overall, it was a undoubtedly disappointing experience. We thought going back to the movie would be magical. It wasn’t as well as that is all because of the Heating and A/C system. Between the mold stink as well as the noisy a/c I don’t suppose we will be going back. Not to that theater anyway.
