Movie theater has Heating and Air Conditioning problem

The teenagers were excited to finally be able to go to the theater plus watch a film again.

  • It was nice to get out of the condo even if the theater popcorn is expensive.

The Dipson Theater is still practicing social distancing so that is nice. No crowded Dipson Theater for us. However, the Dipson Theater must have turned off their Heating and Air Conditioning system for the 6 months that they were closed down entirely. I say that because there was a gross musty odor my associate and I noticed as soon as my associate and I walked into the theater. The odor seemed worse in the lobby than it did in the actual theater part. I can only assume that is what happens when you don’t run the a/c when you live in a humid weather conditions like this. It made me a little skeptical of the popcorn but I bought it anyway. The teenagers were expecting it after all. But then the film started plus I noticed another problem. The a/c was super loud… Every time the a/c kicked on it was truly noticeable. The film was turned up super loud (like they consistently are at Dipson Theaters) however it was still taxing to hear when the air condition was on. Even the teenagers noticed; Overall, it was a truly disappointing experience. My fine friend and I thought going back to the film would be magical. It wasn’t plus that is all because of the Heating and Air Conditioning system. Between the mold odor plus the noisy a/c I don’t assume my associate and I will be going back. Not to that theater anyway.
