I adore sleeping in a cooler environment, but there’s nothing worse than being too chilly while trying to sleep, and last week, I woke up shivering in the middle of the evening! I was so chilly plus couldn’t get moderate no matter what I did, i piled two extra blankets on my bed plus pulled on an extra pair of socks plus a thick sweatshirt, then since it was the middle of the evening plus I was drowsy, I didn’t realize that something was actually wrong with my furnace… As I was shivering under the covers for 30 minutes attempting to fall asleep, it finally dawned on me that my home shouldn’t have been as chilly as it was.
I turned the heat on before I went to sleep like I normally did, so there was no reason for it to feel like I was sleeping at the North Pole, reluctantly, I got up to check my temperature control settings.
I saw that I had the furnace turned on plus the temperature was set to 74 degrees, but the temperature control said that my home was 65 degrees! To be honest, 65 degrees was higher than I was anticipating because it felt much colder. I thought about calling the emergency Heating as well as Air Conditioning line, but I didn’t want to pay the higher fee. Instead, I decided to suck it up plus deal with the cooler rapidly changing temperatures. I already knew I’d have to pay for the furnace repair, so I didn’t want to spend extra cash to have them come out instantly. It could wait until morning.
