New condo with more tall trees lowers energy bill

I have learned to never take for granted the location of one’s residence insofar as it relates to how comfortable it is to live there… For the longest time, I lived in a condo with my family that was on a piece of land that saw direct sun with undoubtedly little foliage to give us shade… The most we had was some straight-forward bushes plus other types of landscaping, but no overhanging trees or even tall shrubs to give us respite from the sun plus heat, my friend and I simply got used to buying heavy curtains plus shades plus using the air conditioner unit all the time… All these things were undoubtedly necessary in the summer, in particular, as you can well imagine.

Then, last year, we moved into a new house.

The condo is just at the edge of a glade, plus there is plenty of shade on three sides of our house. My friend and I even had to trim back some of the trees in order to protect our condo from falling branches! Once that was done, however, my family plus I undoubtedly suddenly became appreciative of just how much shade we were getting surrounding our house. My friend and I moved in in the month of May, plus by mid-June it became undoubtedly obvious that we would not have to use our air conditioner unit nearly as much as we needed to on the seasoned property. The condo is oriented on the loft in such a way that the sunlight rising in the east plus setting in the west is jammed by trees on either side, but considering the fact that our new condo has comparable square footage to the seasoned one, my partner plus I are happy that our energy bill seems much lower!
