This afternoon was hot, yet it wasn’t even summer! At first, I ignored the excess heat plus removed my coat, thinking that I could be experiencing a reaction that made me feel excessively hot, however, when Daisy walked into my office complaining of too much heat, plus a few minutes later, Carol was next, I knew it was time to act, but every passing minute seemed to get hotter, yet the A/C worked normally, gauging by the sound.
- However, it was clear that instead of blowing cold air into the offices as would be the norm, it was blowing scorching air… I tried to contact a local Heating, Ventilation & A/C serviceman who maintains the office AC, but his number was not going through, then frustrated at the turn of events, I called the main office for assistance.
A sweet lady on the other end answered plus tried to calm me down… Unluckyly, things were getting out of hand as one of our colleagues had collapsed due to the excess heat; The Heating, Ventilation & A/C receptionist on the other end quickly affixed a modern Heating, Ventilation & A/C professional to us, plus within twenty minutes, the professionals were at the office premises. I directed him to the A/C unit. It was smoking plus almost blew in his face. It turns out that the component had malfunctioned plus behaved abnormally. There was no logical explanation for this because whenever an A/C overheats, it should turn off automatically. This one did not, plus instead, it continued to run despite lacking sufficient airflow. The Heating, Ventilation & A/C specialist let me know that the component was not going to labor again, plus it was necessary to invest in an upgrade. Fortunately, the company had already thought about this plus advised us to use the portable ACs in each office until they sorted it out permanently.
