Just the other day I had to stay home from work because I wasn’t feeling well at all.
It always seems like the transition from cooler weather to warm weather does that to me.
I was so stuffed up and my throat was hurting me that I didn’t want to go to work and spread my germs. Especially when I am face-to-face with my clients. I was lucky that when I stayed home I found that there was some issues going on with my HVAC system that I have never noticed before. This is most likely due to the fact that I am at work most of the day and when I get home from work checking my air vents and noticing it, isn’t even on my mind. While I was on the couch, there is an air register right near it. My cold was making me feel really warm so I went to the thermostat to adjust the temperature. I set the thermostat to a lower temperature so that the air conditioning system could kick on faster. When I did this, I sat back down and continued watching my TV show. About twenty minutes went by and I realized that the air coming out of the vents was not very cold. Plus there was limited amount of air coming out of the vents. I knew that this didn’t seem right so I googled it. All of the problems that I was having, matched up with the determination that it was because I needed an HVAC tune up. I called my HVAC technician to set up a tune up appointment.
