House hunting has been a lot of fun, especially since money is not an opportunity this time.
Years ago, when my buddy and I were first married, my buddy and I had to settle for whatever my buddy and I could afford & just make it work.
Now, my buddy and I both have great jobs & are able to afford the lifestyle my buddy and I have constantly wanted. Beach living has constantly been a dream of ours & my buddy and I are finally making it happen. My buddy and I have been able to see some spectacular locales plus some that were particularly strange. The one property had six home offices however it was three stories. I couldn’t even imagine trying to heat & cool the property with the layout either. Yes, my buddy and I can afford to pay the utility bills, however that doesn’t mean that I am ready to foolishly waste money for no reason. The property I am referring too was also honestly chopped up so the flow of heated & cooled air would be restricted by doors & corners. The only way I would ever consider living in a property like that would be to install separate, zoned, heating & cooling throughout the locale. This would be the only thing that would make any sense. Modern technology & the energy efficient electric units that are available could make this a reality honestly easily. This is one thing that makes that property worth considering. Even though it would be a huge initial investment, these units would lower the overall utility bills each year by at least twenty five percent. My buddy and I have not particularly decided on that perfect beach property yet, but, that one is a contender for sure.
