This guy at the HVAC company started to play in my band last month.
I have been playing in the same band since way back in college and I love all the guys in the band like they are my brothers.
I play the lead guitar and sing the main vocals but we have really been in need of a new drummer for quite a while. Our old drummer moved away with his family and so we have been struggling to pay without a drummer. It’s kind of hard to have an actual band without a drummer, that’s for sure. I know that it’s a little bit odd to end up at an HVAC company where there are two musicians on the team, but that’s what happened here. I think it’s funny because what are the odds of that happening? I mean, whenever I think of HVAC technicians, I definitely do not really think about bands and drummers. However, that’s how it is here at the HVAC company where we work. We were talking about it about a month ago, and that’s when I found out that this guy was actually a drummer. As soon as I heard him talking about being a drummer, my ears perked up and I knew that I had to talk to him about coming and joining our band. Now we are playing together and it’s great. Whenever we are working together on an HVAC job now, we talk about songs and guitar licks and how to improve on our songs. It’s a fun way to pass the time at work.
