Today’s weather was very humid and hot.
During the summer months, the weather is unpredictable.
Some days it’s hot and humid and other days it is rainy and dreary all day. I live in an area where the temperatures are regularly over 90 during the summer. I’m lucky to live close to lots of lakes and rivers. The lakes and rivers provide a great way to cool off on a hot summer day. I like going to the lake or the river for kayaking and fishing. My friends and I frequently go to the river. My friend Jack has a boat and we take the boat up and down the river or the lake looking for the best fishing holes. My friends and I went fishing on Saturday, but most of the day the fish weren’t biting. We went to a different fishing spot after lunch, but we didn’t have any luck there either. When we were done with our fishing day, I went back to my place in the city. When I arrived at my apartment, the first thing I noticed was the hot and humid temperatures. It was warmer inside of my apartment than it was outside. I checked the temperature on the thermostat and it was 78°. I had the temperature set for 72° and the machine was running. Unfortunately, warm air was coming out of the ductwork instead of cold air. I shut off the air conditioner immediately and contacted the local heating and air conditioning repair shop. They have emergency service appointments 7 days a week.
