Trending online

I contacted a local web design firm to see if they could help out in this area

When I listen to the daily news they always do a segment on “what’s Trending”. I find most of the stuff really boring and don’t see what all the fuss is about. It is usually some story about a celebrity doing some awful thing and it has no impact on my life personally. I guess in order to be “trending” your story must be interesting enough for millions of people to be looking it up at the same time. This did, however, get me thinking about our current marketing campaign at work. Now, I work for an HVAC manufacturing company so our advertising is less than interesting. We sell to big box stores and large dealerships mostly so our sales team does most of the pitching in person. We are trying to branch out to the entire nation and have been talking about a new ad campaign. I decided to look into advertising online because this can be more cost effective and reach more people in a shorter time. If we come up with a creative plan that catches the eye of buyers it could increase our profits significantly. Now, my biggest challenge was finding a way to move our advertisement to a noticeable place online. If we were able to be more visible to our target demographic it would mean a quicker response to our ads. I contacted a local web design firm to see if they could help out in this area. They said that there were ways to submit items to search engines and increase the probability of our ads being seen. I am still learning as I go but I think I am on the right track for sure.
