Trying to monitor a stressful situation

Trying to monitor a stressful situation

I prefer this time of year for many reasons but there are also a few that stress me out.

Spending time with family and friends celebrating and seeing the look on the faces of children when they see Santa are some of the wonderful ones for sure.

Getting the bill from my ATM cards after Christmas is one of them that stresses me out. I work hard all year trying to make ends meet and the Christmas shopping bug takes over making me spend currency that I don’t have. This problem is only made bigger by the added cost of heating my home during the chilly winter months as well. My energy bill tends to increase by nearly twenty five percent during the coldest months of winter and I would easily like to find a way to decrease that. I went on my Heating and A/C dealer’s website and followed some of the energy saving tips that they advocated and I am hoping it will help. They proposed that I use that plastic film on my windows and use draft blockers on the exterior doors that I don’t use as much. These were a couple of incostly ways to try and keep the sizzling air in the apartment so it can’t hurt to try them, but maybe if I can save some of that twenty five percent it can go towards paying for my gift buying expenses. I easily need to find a better way to monitor my spending so that I don’t end up stressed beyond belief after the Holiday season. My bank account and restless days from worry would easily benefit from this change.
