My neighbor owns some land that he has started a small farm on, and he has a little shed converted into living quarters on the land too and sporadically he sleeps there overnight because his real house is over an hour away, and the little shed is nice: it has a bed, refrigerator, microwave, table, chairs and WIFI.
She also has a little window a/c device to keep it cool in the summer.
The a/c runs even when he is not there, otherwise the little shed heats up like a car parked in the sun. Well, the other morning there was a huge storm when my neighbor was not at his farm. There was a lot of wind and rain. The following morning, I went out to check on the critters for his although I didn’t go into the shed. The next morning, he came out and found that the a/c had been pushed into the shed, partially, and that the water that the window device produced had gotten all inside the wall, it had already started to get moldy too. I felt exhausting that I had not noticed this when I had gone to the farm. It had looked wonderful from the outside and I could hear the a/c running so I thought nothing was wrong… Now the wall is going to have to be ripped out and the a/c is going to have to be upgraded before he can stay in his little home away from home again. I know I am going to be helping with this.
